questionQ: When can I start using the Online Payment Portal?
A:
You can begin using the portal as soon as you register.

Q: Do I have to enter my User ID every time I login?
A:
Yes, to better protect your personal information.

Q: What are the fees associated with Online Payment?
A:
There is no charge for using this payment method.

Q: What types of billing statements can I view and pay online?
A:
Any current CMC-NorthEast hospital billing statements resulting from hospitalization, an Emergency Department visit, or an in-hospital procedure such as an x-ray or lab work can be viewed and paid online.  Physician's office charges are not viewable or payable online at this time.

Q: Is the CMC-NorthEast billing statement reflective of charges for all physician services?
A:
No.  This does not include charges for any professional services such as: radiologists, anesthesiologists, pathologists, and Emergency Services physicians.  You will receive statements from those physicians directly. Read more about private physician billing.

Q: Why are all of my past payments not showing up online?
A:
Only payments that have been made via the Online Billing Manager are viewable in the online system.  However, your total account balance will be updated weekly in the online sytem to reflect any payments made in person or through the mail. 

Q: Can I make a single payment for multiple accounts?
A:
Yes.  When you log on to the Online Billing Manager, you will view a list of accounts currently receiving statements and you may enter the amount you wish to pay on each and. The total amount you will pay with your transaction for all accounts will be displayed in the total field at the bottom of the screen.

Q: If I need to update my address and insurance information, can I do that online?
A:
Updates to personal information such as address or insurance can be made by calling CMC-NorthEast Patient Account Services at 704-403-7973.

Q: I have forgotten my username and password.  Can you email me this information?
A:
When visiting the Online Billing Manager on the CMC-NorthEast web site, please click on the link "Forgot your password?"  An email confirming your username and password will be sent to the email address provided at the initial registration.

Q: I have a question that is not answered in this FAQ.  What can I do to get help?
A:
For all other questions or concerns, please email CMC-NorthEast Patient Account Services.  You will receive a response within two business days.
