CMC-NorthEast's Audiology and Speech Clinic is the only comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center in Cabarrus County for speech and hearing disorders.

Our Audiology department offers services for:

• Comprehensive Hearing Testing - to determine the degree and type of hearing loss
  
  
• Immitance Measures - to determine the functioning of the eardrum and ear bones
  
  
• Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) - to determine if a baby or a child has a hearing loss; also may be used to provide information on the functioning of the auditory nerve system
  
  
• Electronystagmography (ENG) - to determine the functioning of the vestibular (balance) system
  
  
• Hearing Aid Services and Repairs - includes the fitting of hearing aids as well as training in their use
